Fruit

In the book of John 15 the importance of having fruit is emphasized. The evidence that you have produced something is fruit. At this current time in my life it is time for me to start producing more fruit. As stated in the last blog I am in a ministry training program that has taught me how to properly relate to God, how to be loving and compassionate to others, and how to work in excellence.

Now is the time for me to use all that has been invested in me to reach out to others. Thus I have started a new ministry for women called Ruth and Naomi Ministries. God has changed my life from being a very sad and depressed person to one full of joy and peace. My desire is for other women to have the same freedom and joy in life. The forum is a talk show where women and can call in to get their questions answered about life. (Please check out the website at www.ruthandnaomiministries.org)

I believe that everyone has something to give to others. All of your experiences from the past have taught you something. Whether it was something good or bad someone can learn from it. My challenge for you this week is to think of one experience that you can share with others and go out and share it. Produce fruit so that someone else can eat from it and grow.http://www.ruthandnaomiministries.org

Importance of Ministry Training

As a health care professional there are several expectations that society has for me. The first expectation is that I have been trained to handle patient's medical needs. This includes graduating from a nursing school and receiving a license saying that I am able to provide safe medical care. The second expectation is that I have the character, integrity and compassion to care for those that are not able to care for themselves.

Prior to coming to The Well Discipleship School I had little to no understanding of what it takes to be a ministry leader. Just like my nursing training I have learned that without proper training in ministry lives could be at stake. In health care the human body including the mind and emotions are the main focus. In ministry the person as a whole including the body, the soul and the spirit are in one's hand. It is truly life or death. As a ministry ledger one can lead someone into hell or into heaven. When one values something one studies and handles the valued item with care. As a nurse it would be careless of me not to study and to learn that I possibly can about how to take care of my patients. The same goes with ministry training. The handling of souls is not a light thing. Each person that one is leading is a precious person in God's eyes. As a leader I have been given the responsibility to care for that soul. Ephesians 4:11, 12 (KJV) states (11) And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; (12) For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.

I thank God for The Well Discipleship school which is equipping me to be a ministry leader through prayer, hands on training, character building and life skills. It is my responsibility to be properly training to handle souls. If you would like to assist me financially in my ministry training please see the Paypal link located below.

The Well Discipleship Training School has also taught me not to bury my talents. Therefore I not only have a talent for nursing but also in crocheting blankets. Blankets are not only warm but also make great keepsake gifts. If you are interested in purchasing one of my Candanket Blankets please type send me a brochure in the comment section of the post.

The lessons that I have been taught at The Well have prepared me to become a person of influence where ever I go, particularly in my workplace. I have led staff meetings, taught Bible studies, and have been interviewed in my company's magazine. I have done things that I never thought I could do. My parents are what I like to call Justice Fighters. Growing up if there was a situation that my parents felt was not just or right they were not afraid to speak up regardless of the possible repercussions. Even after seeing my parents boldly making the wrong things right I still did not have the confidence to do the same. At The Well my leadership taught me that Christians are not weak but are bold. Jesus was not weak but meek. He had all the power to demolish the world and its systems while he was on earth but he chose to allow His own creation to crucify him. Therefore if I am serving a king that powerful but meek I have a responsibility. As a missionary, I can not be fearful and weak. There are many people out there who need strong people to fight through resistance to meet their needs.

My name is C Griffy and this is my new blog. I first want to start off by introducing myself. My current occupation is nursing which I have done for almost eight years. I have a passion for seeing other people healthy and living life to the fullest. The love of my life (God the Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit) fuels my passion for living and I want others to know him. I am a missionary and have dedicated my life to following wherever I am lead to go. I am a part of an exciting, never a dull moment, life changing discipleship school called The Well. At The Well I have had an opportunity to sit down at the feet of Jesus while serving those in the community, college campuses and nations across the world. The Well is located in the heart of Atlanta,
Georgia where great Civil Rights leaders fought for freedom and justice.

As a missionary I need financial support to complete the work that I am doing. It takes resources to feed the homeless, build homes, preach the gospel and build the House of the Lord. As a financial supporter you are helping to bring the good news of the gospel to the entire world. I have lived in Atlanta for 3 years and 3 months. I have seen many people's lives changed and transformed by the love of God. This could not have been done without financial supporters. It is not all about the money but it is all about spreading the gospel. You can make your donations through paypal. Click on the Buy Now button to see your payment options. You can do a one time donation or make a monthly donation.

I will continue to provide updates on what is going on in my exciting missionary life. Please provide feedback, comments, questions etc.
